A Mother’s Love

Last mother’s day, my mom posted a clipping from a TEMPO newspaper’s editorial section regarding Mothers on one of the walls of the cabinet near the mirror. Curious, I went up ask her, what was the content of the article she posted. She just said, "You should read it, it is about mother’s day". Well, got no choice… I read it…after a few minutes of reading it, my eyes became red… teary… Without finishing it, I went to the sink to freshen up my eyes… The story was somehow relavant to my life when I was young… This year, the same article was againg posted on the same newspaper… and again, even after a year, I went back to the posted article near the mirror and read it. Again, I went back because I can’t continue reading it because it reminds me of my life….

When we were in highschool, we were always told to write essays regarding our life,,, especially during events like mother’s day… For me, I really hated my english subject during that time, I would just then write few things and make up things regarding mother’s day (common topic for highschool) just to finish up the written composition… Not until now that I realize that essays are good, they make you realize how important life is, how important the people are, and how it reminds you to look back and remember…
